        The objective of the contract is to ensure European-level coordination and implementation of the European Mobility Week (EMW) campaign and of year-round public awareness-raising actions, with a view to meeting the overall goals of the campaign as completely and as effectively as possible.

        The role of the EMW European coordination is to promote participation and facilitate execution of the campaign by local authorities across the EU, through:

        — coordination of the annual campaign cycle, serving the role of central info desk, ensuring coordination with relevant stakeholders, programmes and initiatives,

        — coordination of registrations and award applications, analysis of data gathered and summary of outcome,

        — supporting and extending the existing network of appointed national coordinators, promotion of national outreach events addressing local authorities,

        — ensuring coordination for the national coordinators e.g. via an online community forum and regular coordination meetings,

        — providing a communications plan, visual guidelines, communications toolkit, plus campaign publications/materials and multilingual support,

        — managing the website and social media,

        — ensuring systematic media outreach,

        — managing the procedure for the European Mobility Week awards and the award for sustainable urban mobility planning,

        — comprehensive organisation of the annual workshops for national coordinators and award ceremony,

        — co-organising September launch event,

        — supporting the mobility actions online registration facility,

        — ensuring overall project management.
