        This framework contract seeks external expertise to complete support tasks to be used as input for (a) impact assessments and ‘ex ante’ evaluations for the design and preparation of Union policy initiatives and legislative proposals in the field of transport; (b) intermediate and ‘ex post’ evaluations of Union policies, regulatory measures and programmes in the field of transport; and (c) any analysis similar to the tasks under (a) and (b). The framework contract covers studies on all transport modes: aviation, rail transport, road transport, maritime transport and inland navigation. All issues relevant for transport and mobility may be looked into including non-exhaustively: competition, environmental impacts, infrastructure, innovation and research, intelligent transport, internal market, international dimension, investment, logistics, passenger rights, safety, security, social aspects, sustainability.
