         Het globale doel van de opdracht bestaat er enerzijds in om de 2o fase van de spitsstrook op de E314 te Wilsele te realiseren, aansluitend op de eerder gerealiseerde fase 1 (die momenteel in uitvoering is).

         Anderzijds omvat onderhavige opdracht ook een deel van de noodzakelijke infrastructurele maatregelen ter realisatie van de globale reconversie van de zone Leuven-Noord in de omgeving van de E314 ter hoogte van het Vuntcomplex (nr. 20).

         Finaal werden ook diverse werken opgenomen m.b.t. het renoveren van bestaande weg- en bruginfrastructuur in de ruime projectzone door middel van structureel onderhoud aan de wegenis en diverse brugrenovaties.

         Gelet op bovenvermelde diverse doelen en uiteenlopende scope, werd deze opdracht - omwille van de leesbaarheid en later management van de opdracht - opgesplitst in 8 concrete deelprojecten, verder in dit plaatsingsdossier afgekort als DP1 t.e.m. DP8
